I feel I’ve finally reached my last job in advertising. I’m not necessarily old. It’s just that I like the newer job I’m in so much. It’s so good for me that I feel anyplace else will be too painful comparatively. So I’ll probably just do something else instead.

Feeling lost in my career (10 yoe, 9 in consulting). Anyone feel this before and how did you get through it (career coach, books, etc)?

Hi All, just sharing what on mind to vent it out from my system. Maybe with this I could gain some insights and inspiration.
I have been working as a data scientist since 2018 & have been the bread winner. I have neither been under a proper mentor nor with a team of peers from my field to help me out. I was alone and confused. I have never really got the chance to prove myself which makes me all the more depressed. I'm not sure what to do with my future, indecisive and low on confidence.

Any advice on how to pick the best company for me when offered a position from more than 1 company? I've been interviewing extensively with 4 companies, and I believe 2 are getting ready to send offers. If I receive more than 1 offer - how do I choose? I compared benefits, pros/cons, compared them on Glassdoor, questioned them about growth opportunities, asked about their culture.....anything I am missing? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone moved from consulting to an internal role? How did you find it. I’m fed up of consulting

Any advice on a first year trying to transition from family law to in-house? I always thought family law was my path, and used to enjoy it, but it’s not the direction I want to head in anymore. I don’t think I even want to continue with any litigation work. I’m having a hard time finding firms that are hiring entry level associate positions that don’t require at least 3+ years experience in-house. Should I start at a business law firm to get experience working with corporations first?

Planning to exit tech firms as a mid to senior level roles. What are some possible sources I can reach out at to make this happen?

Getting sober has made me realize how bad my boss really is.

1:1 with my boss, one of the areas of improvement was: “be more vocal”.

Being an immigrant who struggles a lot with the language barrier is just super hard to digest this. Turned down a gig at Apple two years ago because I saw a lot of growth opportunities at my current company and saw the position as a step back (even though it was more money) and have regretted it ever since. Still in the same exact position at the same company I was then btw. Bad choice.
