Lucky them!!!! I was thrown to the wolves—worked hard, didn’t have guidance—not easy

I'm glad I wasn't the only one 😂
Coming from a risk perspective, they probably realized two day training was not enough based on the errors being made by analysts so revamped to two week training to ensure proper learning. They lowered risk for long term reward. I wouldn't call it coddling... Coming from a person thrown to wolves.

That makes the most sense. Thanks for your input! Even though I still just want to call it coddling... 😂

We have a robust training program for those fresh out of college, but other than that everyone else gets 1 day of company policy training and then are thrown in the deep end. It’s very much sink or swim.

Sounds like what I went through!
Sounds great, I just got thrown to the wolves and don’t do anything which is also a blessing because I don’t really have a set role which I was hired or trained for
I know it does, and I try to be content but I like challenge and to feel accomplished by reaching goals etc. I have complained and complained and feel this role makes me stagnant and also unable to be competitive in the job market when that time comes :)
