I've been seeking marketing roles with a $100-$110K salary without luck. My skills include digital and B2B marketing, content creation, SEO, social media marketing, and brand strategy, along with my proficiency in tools like CRMs, ChatGPT, and Adobe. I'm seeking advice on suitable roles or potential career paths.

How does one most effectively make the transition into management from an Individual Contributor?

I've been an individual contributor for 4 years in Tech, have 8 years of experience total. I'm finding it difficult to make the management transition despite having management experience, performing beyond expectations, and having a genuine passion for enablement and development.

Is it common to offer signing bonuses for product managers? I've only worked in small companies and I'm currently interviewing at a much larger company. I am expecting an offer this week, but the salary isn't quite where I want it to be. A signing bonus of 5 or 10k would make me feel so much better (obviously) but it would put me right where I want to be for salary this year.
