How much would my tech stack and language be a factor in getting selected in faang or good product based companies?
I'm asking from getting my resume selected to getting an offer.
I read everywhere that only DSA and system design is needed, but I'm still concious about my tech stack.

Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

I have hope for you. 💕
I’ve completed 1106 applications since the start of this year and I’m still looking. I’m tired of being the first runner up candidate. It’s exhausting, and then discouraging. I get it. What keeps me motivated is the numbers. Maybe the 2,000th time will be the charm, right?

Welcome to the suck.
It’s not you, it’s the state of the world. It’s brands pulling spend. I’m sorry you’re going through this but things are picking up! Keep at it and good luck ❤️
“The team wound up filling the position internally.”
“The team didn’t get approval on the req.”
I’m sorry, wut!?
Sometimes you legally have to advertise a role to make sure it’s an equal opportunity/fair hiring practices. Other times, why not see who else is out there. But an internal person means less onboarding, interview cost, and ramp up time. And budgets change all the time, which is why open reqs aren’t approved.
You’ll get there! Don’t lose hope
at least you’re getting interviews 😭
Some thoughts: if you’re rejected, ask the recruiter or HR person if there was anything you could have done better. Sometimes you’ll get nothing back, other times you’ll get constructive criticism which can help. Next, look back on your interview and grade yourself on what you did well and where you stumbled. In one interview, I only had a few questions and they were pretty lame and that’s what sunk me. Finally put your feelings of hopelessness aside and get yourself a new job. You can do it, but to do it you can’t give up.
I’m not even getting interviews! What’s your secret?
