I got a verbal offer from a WPP agency today. The role's budgeted salary is 5k less than my desired salary.
The recruiter can get me closer but still not at my desired salary. Otherwise - it would have to go through a long approval process with no guarantee that the salary would even be OK'd.
I'm coming from a small agency, so I could be wrong - but I don't want to sell myself short by accepting the first salary they offer. Do I have any room to negotiate? Or is that risky?

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. For context, I don’t think they misled me. The job changed 3 weeks after I got hired, and got stuck in a role that’s just not a good fit. Gave it 6 months of honest effort and I’m ready to start job hunting.

How long do posts stay up for? I’m rewriting my CV to apply to a job which has been posted for around 19days. I reached out to a recruiter on LinkedIn (via a recommendation) but haven’t heard back. It’s a job in a European office of a major sportswear company for reference.

I spoke with a recruiter recently about a position in her company and before we even began talking about the job, she asked if I needed an sponsorship, I told her no, I dont need one. But she continued to press on the subject until I had to tell her I was a US citizen. I dont know why, but the whole conversation made me extremely uncomfortable. So my question is, can recruiters ask you about your visa/immigration status even when I told her I didnt need a sponsorship??

Cold applied for an awesome role, had an interview with hiring manager, recruiter, and given a pretty hefty assignment that I’m really proud of nailing. A recruiter from an agency I admire reached out to see if I’m interested in an ACD role. BUT it is for one of their Pharma clients. How can I tell them I’m not interested in that category? I’ve noticed that HR, when explaining why a candidate didn’t get the job, tend to lean on “You’re great, but we had candidates with more experience in [skill relevant to the job].” I do believe this is true in some cases, but it can’t possibly be for all of them.
