Like a portfolio review in reverse, creative leaders will share work they created when they first started out and critique it as if were a book that had just landed in their inbox. Then, tell us if they’d hire their younger selves knowing, and expecting, what they do now.

The Plat is a pretty annoying coupon book. Not a fan personally.
Venture X is one of the easiest travel cards to justify. Their lounges are really nice but they don't have many of them.
CSP is an easy keeper too. Not a lot of perks, but allows for transfer partners at a low annual fee. Much better value than CSR, which has become pretty bad imo.
I have all 3 cards too. Capital One and Chase are my keeper. I’m going to get rid of Amex after renewal too because of the similar sentiment of this post. I haven’t explored Citi yet, but a lot of credit card channels on YouTube are sharing more and more about it.
You've to get a Steam gift card and send it to me over here
Just about every card is cheaper and likely better overall for most people from a points perspective. What do you mostly spend money on?
I like the gold card but I don’t really use the monthly credits. I don’t know that I’ll renew if they raise the AF further, so I may need a new grocery card. I also use the Chase sapphire preferred and freedom flex and will probably focus more on chase going forward.
Same here
Venture x has great benefits to it and is cheaper. Amex has great cards at lower price points
I dropped the Platinum for the same reason. I’ve found that the Citi ecosystem works best for what I need now, so I run the double cash - custom cash - strata premier triple stack. If/when Citi brings out their prestige replacement I’ll likely add that. But now I don’t have lounge access 🤷♂️
Anyone have a suggestion to downgrade to within the Amex family?
Already have the Gold, so this is helpful!
The American Express Gold card gives you 4x points in categories like groceries, gas, and restaurants. You can earn 4x points in 2 categories per billing cycle.
Since when does gold give 4x on gas?
