I got tired of the daily grind and lack of job security. As a veteran, I always thought I would have jobs available to me. I did my part, even went back to school after, and got my Bachelor's, and yet I am in the same struggle as everyone here. I decided to try to take my own path and look into government contracts leveraging my veteran status, and would love to partner with anyone who can help? I am already registered on SAM.gov and could use any help. I have no idea what to do next.

I left Audit at a midsize firm to join KPMG erp implementation consulting about 6 months ago. So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. Spoke to a lot of others who have left and seems like being pigeonholed or staffed on projects not related to the actual core work of the practice is the common reason. I've been on the fence about whether I should stay and hope to be staffed on better projects in the future or leave soon...

Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? Seed-stage, Chief of Staff:
+ Currently valued at $100M after $12M in financing

This is for a BizOps role & they have a team of 20-30. What cash + equity % would make sense to switch over for?
