If you got your degree in accounting and you want to work in that industry, then I recommend just getting the credit through community college. If you have the necessary business/accounting units, it should be ok to take anything you have an interest in. If you think you might want to branch out of accounting someday, then an MBA is also a good idea, but take some time to get work experience before that.
I know a lot of people they’ll do LSU online or Liberty University or a variety of others and just take the higher accounting courses needed to get the 150 credits and then they’ll take the exam. It’s cheaper that way. You won’t have a masters degree but you’ll get enough credits to get your license and in the long run you’ll be fine. Not having the masters won’t really hold you back the CPA will open enough doors on its own
