I graduated last year and have been job hunting for almost 12 months now. I’m seriously interested in media roles (PR, social media, product development, comms, production etc) but have had zero luck so far and have no idea what to do. How long does it normally take to find a job? I’ve limited my search down to the whole of london so I would expect a lot of potential opportunities but there aren’t actually that many - and when I do apply, I heard nothing back. Any advice or ideas please??

I interviewed with capgemini for SAP ABAP role and my YOE is 4 years. Just 2 hours after my interview, I got a call from someone at Capgemini saying that I am selected.
They just asked my notice period and current location.I asked them, what is the next round going to be and they said that it is going to be salary discussion. But till now, no one has reached out to me.
Does it mean they got another candidate for same job?
If they get back to me, how much should I ask?

Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.

It’s been two weeks since and complete radio silence. I sent an email to a hiring manager a week ago but received no reply. It’s August so people could be on vacation but this is really strange.
