I had a temp/contract job lasted two weeks. I made a couple of mistakes but I could blame training and the internal controls/approvals. The transaction went through about 3 levels of review and I missed that it should had been a credit but it was entered as a debit. Since I was last who reviewed it, I was blamed for the mistake and and my contract ended. I’m sad to say when you work a temp position, you are disposal employee with no feeling but oh well I tried. 

When you start a new job, About how long should it take for you to get acclimated to your role? Getting overwhelmed with having to learn new processes but I’m sure that this is normal…right?

I was just talking to a younger friend who goes to Cal and It seems like the kids these days hate FAANG or at least Amazon and Facebook are not desired at all.
