Op, you have 0 offers or options right now. You will find that it is not that easy to find a role at startup. Or even get one call.
So I would suggest start looking for job, get a few offers before considering it a risk. Applying without network will lower your chances even more, so start having coffee chat at those companies to create a network. Unless you get incredibly lucky, you will invest months before getting any option. So I’m not quite sure what risk you are referring to here ?
Well, the risk of leaving of a job where I perform well, I like the team/culture, and I'm well regarded by mgmt for a startup that might fail, not be a good fit and offer less benefits and/or pay.
I know, I have not applied yet, is an hypothetical risk.

The only decision you have to make right now is where apply. If/when there's an offer on the table you can weigh your options, until then it looks like you are subconsciously patting yourself on the back over how good you have it by making up thos hypothetical risk.

Stay put and start looking around. Maybe toss in an app or two but if you never get a call back, you still have it good and you are still getting paid.
In my opinion, profit and risk are directly proportional. If you feel your career development has stagnated, you should think about what's holding you back. First, identify the problem, then figure out how to solve it. The right approach is crucial
Apply around, sticking with one company long term is a good way to have your pay stagnate, only quit when you have something though
Budget isn’t tight. People at the top are just greedy.
Stay in Microsoft, learn and try to apply those learnings at work. Update your CV and find that role, which will take time and might not even be something you want. Just hop if that is the case, but make sure to always leave some unique value.
