I’m having a really hard time with my changing body. 13 weeks, I don’t have too many bad side effects of pregnancy or anything so I consider myself lucky (no nausea ever etc) but I’m depressed at work, my skin is completely broken out and showing new broken face capillaries, and I’m not showing a bump yet so I just feel fat and big. I don’t know where this “glow” is but I look in the mirror and literally am grappling with not recognizing myself :( it’s been impossible to find any clothes too.

Have an acquaintance who is a single mom; she purchased a used car 3 mos ago. Six wks later her 17yo wrecked it, air bags deployed, and estimates have ranged between $10-$18k in needed repairs while $21k is still owed. Acquaintance was switching insurance policies and flubbed the coverage dates and there were a few days where the vehicle was uninsured. No GAP insurance. Mental Health, inherited or choice? I am finding myself struggling with processing that ADD, Depression, or Bipolar is a chemical imbalance in the brain vs. behavioral therapy. The best analogy given to me is you would treat diabetics with insulin so why not consider prescriptions to help mental health. 2020 has thrown more at me than I’m able to handle. Has anyone here noticed a significant improvement after a prescription to help psych issues?
