I had one of the most bizarre calls today in disputes, and it made me wonder how unbelievable people can be. A lady bought a phone plan for Jamaica but forgot to bring her SIM card. Since she couldn’t use it, she called her bank asking for her money back because “the phone company said so.” She really thought not carrying her SIM made her eligible for a refund. Just when I think I’ve seen it all, a new scenario shows up.

Is it just me or is strength training the hip new workout for weight loss? Before this people recommended HIIT and before that it was cardio. What makes us so sure that this time strength training really is gonna be the key and it’s not just another trend?

Happy wife happy life is a really toxic saying. I’m just shocked how this has become the standard saying for men in relationships. I have friends of mine saying this all the time, and I have just thought it’s so cringe and always want to say my thoughts on it but always decide to hold back. However, imagine the saying reversed - happy husband happy life - that would lead to all kinds of uproar. To me happy wife happy life means I need to sacrifice my wants and needs to make my wife happy.

getting asked for discounts constantly when they know its a hard " no " but keeps asking is crazy to me

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.

I had customers tell me how amazing the salads I make for them. It’s great that I can make salads that good!

At a different job I had a customer trying to swindle me in telling me that there was a deal in an item that never had a deal or promotion for sale so he made me scan the item 20 times before believing me. Obviously, he finally let it go but I scan it with an inventory scanner that showed me all of the sale price promotions if there were any

Someone came in and ordered 60 bacon double cheeseburgers… my crew thought I was kidding. 😅
