I have 2.5 YOE in data science domain and overall 5 yrs experience, I have worked in classical ML projects, now I am giving interviews, they ask me basics of Gen AI and at last they say they want someone with gen AI experience. My question is why don’t they see my resume before the interview, I have never mentioned any gen AI project. It’s frustrating when provided this feedback. Should I do my own Gen AI project and say I worked in it ?

This one is for folks on h1b visa. So at time when you have an offer in hand(not accepted the offer yet and h1b transfer process not yet begun) while you are working with your current employer, do you even speak to your employer about your new offer to see if they make a counter offer?
Is there a risk involved with this approach assuming your current employer doesn't provide you with a counter offer and they ask you to leave immediately (and your h1b visa hasn't been transferred either)

The week of my wedding, my husband (PL SQL Developer 4 yoe) was laid off. That was a couple of weeks ago. I am a traditional reservist so I never really used military benefits before, but could use advice here.

I am currently renting and my lease is not up until October 2021, however I found a good deal on a home and scheduled to close in June 2021.

My landlord will not work with me to end the lease early, so it looks like I will have to double up on rent and mortgage through the summer.
