Bain & Company Hello, I received an offer as a Senior Practice Manager at Bain. The profit sharing range is 0-12% in the offer letter. Is it typical to receive the midpoint (6%)? Also, what do the annual salary increases typically look like? Any insights are much appreciated. Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

I recently finished my Masters in Cyber Security and have a Bachelors in Software Development. As much as I love the technical aspect of my degrees, I think the happiest me would be in tech sales. I had found an opportunity at IBM for entry level sales starting in 2023 and was wondering if anyone had gone through this or the Summit program? Looking for insight on applying and would love to chat with anyone who has or currently works for IBM! Thanks in advance!

The issue is not your school or GPA - it's the calendar. It's November, recruiting is nearly done. You need a referral, and fast.
Whatever your friends are doing to recruit for consulting, you need to avoid. Info sessions, and any other event run thru your school's career services isn't going to help - there are tons of identical bodies waiting in those lines. Do find a group to case with, but don't go to the events they go to.
You need to hit linkedin and find ND alums at these firms who did what you are doing at your school and write personalized messages to as many as you can. If you can get to Chicago or Indy for any sort of career fair where you know these companies will be, I'd recommend these external venues over a campus program for your situation.
seconding this — getting a job in consulting is 95% networking, and this continues after you start haha
go daddy, google,
Yeah apply for CDP and state you’re interested in AI, might be too late for strategy if you’re a senior
Do you have any internships under your belt? I think that will help a lot but agreed with the above that you should network as well.
I would say just go for it anyway. Apply and if you get rejected ask for feedback it'll help you know what you need to work on.

Your GPA is too low.
You have a chance. I would definitely recommend trying anyhow. You don't know until you apply and try.
