Hi Fishes,
I am at a career standpoint where i am really confused what to do.
I have 4+ yoe in RPA .I really dont think its sustainable as a career .I am willing to learn and move into something different.
But what i am really confused is how would i manage to switch jobs without any prior experience?
I already earn 13-15 lpa,why would anyone offer me same level of package without experience?
People who do a successful career switch, please share your stories. In need of some motivation
Do you think anyone will be hiring at this time?
BC - do you buy/sell more puts or calls?

Wait I’m not sure I understand this. She’s working for Heinz and got cut off guard because of the break up. I can see how that be unnerving. Because you don’t know how that’s going to affect you hopefully it doesn’t affect her negatively.

I’m fine thx. Sorry if this wasn’t clear. A lot of freelancers go into job hoping for full time. That was me once several occasions. Because we’re not privy to insider information, we’re unaware when the situation changes. I was passed on another freelance project because I thought I was getting hired. I was jobless for a while when my job ended.
She’s a freelancer so why would she need to know?

You’re right that freelancers don’t have to know, but many go into a job hoping for full time. I’ve been there. Just asking about shared experiences. The market is getting tougher every day.

Even as a freelancer, you still deserve transparency and respect. I’m so sorry you had to find out this way. It’s frustrating and unfair. Hoping better, more communicative projects come your way soon. You deserve that.

We’ve had acquisitions and divestitures floating around the rumor mill before they are announced. I do respect that leadership can’t share some information company wide while negotiations are happening. Our company has always been on getting us info inline with press releases going out.

Years ago, I was in a situation where my company called an emergency town hall. They were trying to beat an announcement of a possible merger. Most of us saw it in industry news the night before. They didn’t handle it well and spent a lot of time trying to gain trust in the situation. I did leave because I didn’t know who to trust.
