I have a masters and 7 years in higher education. I asked my boss and supervisor about promotion potential and they told me there was nothing here for me and I should start looking for positions elsewhere. My supervisor is a narcissist who I found out was sabotaging me when employers would call her to verify my employment. I get paid 16.15/hr and have been applying to jobs since February and can't get past the interview phase. I can barely pay my bills and I'm so defeated.

I am currently going through an interview process and one of the seven interviews is with someone I may be managing if I get this job. I actually love this idea and I look forward to learning from him/her. Has anyone gone through a similar interview before? What kind of questions were you asked? I’m assuming it’s more of a meet and greet with a mix of leadership related questions.

Anyone has given the BIE interview recently? If yes, can you please help me understand what sorts of questions were asked?

I'm an accounts receivable expert with 8+ yrs of experience. I started with 96k per annum in 2014, and have worked with 4 different MNCs since then. Currently I'm getting approx 9Lpa, and it feels like I'm pretty much stuck here. Switching jobs increases the pay scale, while staying for a while reflects stability.

After being mugged and having my things (including my keys) stolen, I was locked out of my townhome after business hours on a weekend. I was told on the phone when dialing my complex’s after hours number (which is managed by a 3rd party company) that my complex’s policy would let me in for a cost of $100 (as it was after hours). After I was let in, property manager informed me the charge was $200. Is there anything I can do here? This is in Minnesota. Help appreciated!!

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. What would you do? I took sick time for half a day about a month or so ago. Couldn’t clock out appropriately because my keyboard had broken right as I was shutting everything down. Texted my boss to let him know and made arrangements the next day with a new keyboard to make sure that time was accounted for appropriately. However, I find out later that my coworker had somehow gotten ahold of my time clock info and had been using it for years to check on my clock in/out times and saw that I (1)
