I have a monthly 1.2 TB limit on my xfinity. How many of you have the same limit and how many of you exceed the limit?

I have almost every other month. Endless video calls, cord cutting, and a couple WAN security cameras push you to the limit quickly.

The whole data cap is a sham. Comcast turned them off for 4 months at the start of COVID and the network worked fine.

I have yet to exceed my 1.2TB limit.

How do real estate lenders take cash flow into consideration? For example, typically I would probably only be approved for a $500k loan ($125k comp and $100k for down payment), but if I’m buying a multi-family home and planning to live in a unit and rent the others, will lenders approve a bigger loan?

Seeking feedback on GAP insurance. I had a family member who purchased a car in June or July. They were in an accident last week and it sounds like the car will be declared a total loss. Never dealt with this before, so wanted to ask if anyone has ever had an instance where the insurance didn't cover the outstanding balance of the loan and the insured then owed money? Car was $35k, $7k down, finance $28k. Gap insurance is through lender, not auto insurer.

Anyone here moved from Chicago to ATX? Currently in Chicago and considering making the move. I love Chicago and the general vibe here, but it's impossible to buy a home in the city that isn't a condo with a crazy HOA. I've visited Austin as a tourist but never spent more than a long weekend.

When renting a condo from an owner, I was asked to pay a $150 move-in fee to the building which I thought makes sense, but then I am being told to also pay a $500 non refundable move in fee to the owner but he is not wanting a security deposit. Is this normal? Seems like $500 down the drain but not sure if this is normal
