I have a PhD, but damn does an MBA not seem fun and useful for networking. Has anyone gone after PhD and a few years of consulting?

Hi, I'm getting lot of interview calls for SAP SD Consultant but they want someone experienced 2 to 3 years of experience, 1 or 2 implementation done, support or rollout etc, Relevant experience of sap is zero I have, for BFSI industry is 3+ years I've, so what would u suggest??I'm not getting any work, 5 months gap already now in doing SAP course, hana certifications etc,any fresher in SAP, how u made it in SAP? I'll start working anywhere now, in SAP I'm not getting anything, tired

Hi Fishes, im currently in energy consulting domain. 6 yr YEO. Non IT background with PG. took up a course on advanced certifn. in DS and AI w Intellipaat in the hopes of a hike or a possible career transition. CTC is 7.9 .

Any advice on what should be my realistic expectation after the course and gaining knowledge on Python, SQL, MLops, Power BI, Tableau?

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? A friend is considering deferring an offer (stem PhD) for 1 year straight out of undergrad to work in NY, either in a research institution or a biotech. She does not have any real work experience outside of her lab (3 years) and an adjacent internship. Another factor is she is just generally feeling burnt out on school after the last few years.
