I have a stable job, amazing company but promotions are not so easy, now I have an offer to join a big company, they offered me a grade that is lower than what I was expecting (though higher than my current grade) and will require relocation and way more responsibilities, can I counter the offer by asking for the grade I was expecting and a 35% salary hike more than what they offered already?.. is this a stretch or makes sense given the relocation and the additional responsibilities?

Join any dam company in world but dont join lala company HCL. Worked there for 20 days only last yr and 1year later i got my relieving letter after multiple tortures of legal notices for not serving notice period even though when they themselves released me.. from 160k to 0 that i paid them. Starting a new job next month, and considering taking two days off for kids’ spring break next month. Not sure whether it’s appropriate to request time off for a new job (I would’ve preferred not to take any time off for first three months). I may just be able to just ask for a single Friday off (so 1 day rather than 2 days).
