I have an interview for a specialist role (research engagement services) at Gartner. My last CTC was 11.2 lpa. Currently, I am not working, as I left my job one month ago with overall 6.5 years of experience. HR told me on the screening phone call that the CTC would be around 9.5–9.7 lpa for this role at Gartner, to which I said okay at the beginning as I was looking for a job urgently. If I am successful after the interview process, can I ask to renegotiate my CTC to increase it a bit?

My agency is making salary cut backs cause of covid-19. Whole agency at 80%. Because I'm on a junior salary in Manchester that means 80% is less than minimum wage. Do I have any rights?
