I have applied for multiple Internal Job postings (~100) that offer a position out of India and also a few very good roles within Bangalore location but none of the postings seem to make it to the Interview phase. On talking to a few Managers, it appears that before a posting is made internal, "it is already decided as to who will be hired for that role" which is pretty demotivating. Is there a better way to make an internal transfer to roles within and out of Bangalore. How much hike to expect?

So I finished my 3rd interview with a company and the TA specialist said they loved me but can’t meet me at my bottom line salary, however, I said I can negotiate and she said she’s going to speak with the decision makers and see if they’re okay with that.
