I have been applying for nearly 2 years seeking a remote media buyer position but to no avail. I'm wondering if this position is now antiquated as I have over 8+ years in media planning, buying and marketing but I keep getting no interviews. Have final round interviews at BCG tomorrow. I'm at S& right now at the SA level. Father had a sudden health issue come up this week and it's got me off my game. I'll ultimately need to support him financially for at least a year while he recovers. Not complaining, but has me considering just dropping out of the interview process. Is that crazy? Is the opportunity with BCG really so far beyond what I have already with S&? Is dropping a better look than interviewing and doing terribly?
