I have been giving interview for senior data scientist at Walmart. 4 rounds of interview are over. Now I got a mail from the hr saying currently my process is on hold and they are still interested will update soon. After second round I was interviewed for two teams. So now I have no idea whether they will come back, because usually by December hiring freeze will start. It’s already a month. Anyone has any idea on this?

What to expect from Mercer second round interviews for a data analyst position? (Behavioral)

I recently had an interview with HCL and cleared 2 rounds of technical interview. I waited for a week for HR call but no such call was received. I then contacted the POC who scheduled the interview (he is an HCL employee) and he said that I have been shortlisted and will receive HR call shortly. This was 1 week ago and I have still not received any call. Has anyone else faced the same issue? And if yes, should I even expect a call fro HR?
