It’s the same process, not sure what makes you think switching firm would change it
No change. The way it works is you have to file for a LCA before you travel to a work location outside of your home location. Once DOL approves the LCA Deloitte will file for the H-1 amendment with the USCIS. Once it is filed you can travel. You absolutely should not travel before the filing even if any of the Engagement leadership pressure you to travel. I’ve seen this happen often especially from people who have no idea how H-1 visa works and have no respect for the H-1 rules.
Also note that all this information is from USCIS

Don’t do it. 🏃🏻♂️ don’t say I didn’t warn you
The worst decision you will ever make in your life will be joining Deloitte on H1B. They will make sure you don't even have time to Cry. Ppl join regardless of the advice 😦. Don't fall for that 10 or 20 K hike.
Thanks D8. I am making the move as I am getting a 45% hike. Otherwise I don't know if i would have.
Here at Deloitte the recruiter is ready to give any location and just expects to travel when project is outside that location so I am not sure how it will work.
Yes, you’d have to file for an amendment once you have to travel. And once you file, you are able to travel - I believe

Would that affect the outcome in your opinion?
