Nobody gets fired from Capgemini. Whatever news you heard or reas about 300 people being fired in 2020 are true but there were specific reasons behind that.
I knew 2 of these 300 and I am very much aware of the circumstances under which their services were terminated. Any company would have done that.
I have been working here for 6+ yrs now and never in my life I have faced any such situation.
I am rooting to join capg, just wamted to be on a safe side.
Capgemini doesn't fire but also true that hike gets 2 to 3 percent

Infact Accenture is very popular for its wonderful hire and fire policy😅
No Capgemini is not hire and fire company
You can join.
I have seen a consultant level employee on bench since 1 year ....and after that only fired after giving enough time and opportunities.
Even as a senior consultant 2-3 months of bench not much issue
CG doesn't fire people easily. I wont say its the best company in IT but they do hold on to their employees.
When I said was released with bad remark?
I said just released.
And I said he was on bench for 1 year...which company keeps on bench for more than 6-9 months?
Got it. Thanks for clarification.
I agree with Capgemini 3.
Those were the people on bench since more than 6-7 months and still CG gave 3 more months to find project before firing.
This i came to know from a colleague who was evaluating such technically to fire and proper process was followed with providing enough time for them to look inside or outside opportunity.
Even I was involved for 1 resource exit process where he was B2 lateral and since he joined CG he was on bench for 1 year and in between he was in a project but project released him due to technical inability.
Still proper process was followed and some time provided to him before firing him.
As Capgemini 3 mentioned Accenture is very popular in hire and fire every year....I do agree
So you mean to say once proj released him obviously no other proj will take him with bad remarks.
Every skill can be taught, frontend backend all.
Why was he hired at first place?
Weren't they able to judge the capabilities in interview.
He was in proj for a year?
Does Capgemini also let us change project easily I am in a project which has lot of politics played inside it ?
