I have noticed that Cybersecurity Personnels are not paid nowhere at par to Developers or Data Science/ AI/ ML professionals when we hear everyday Cybersecurity as a space still needs millions of people to fill the gap and so on.

I know it's might be even like comparing apples and oranges but in that case too, would appreciate response from anyone especially people who have worked in this space for longer periods.
