I have over 20 years of HR experience due to an outsourcing, I'm looking for an operational HR position instead of my most recent position as an HR manager. I think recruiters pass me up because I am over-qualified, but they don't know that this is an intentional change.

At this time in my career, titles and money are less important to me than finding a purpose in what I do and how I can support employees.

Anyone been through this or have any advice?

Two pending job offers as a Power Platform Developer, 1YOE in the specific technology, 2 total.

Role 1.
-95k base, no bonus, better benefits.
-Booz Allen Hamilton
-Senior Consultant.
-Similar position to now, better progression.

Role 2.
-95k base, 16% bonus, good benefits.
-National grocery chain.
-Slightly different role: more admin / training others / governance / custom coding connectors, etc.

Any advice for a 3rd year risk assurance associate looking to break into a consulting role? I feel like I don’t quite have the tech experience (knowledge of SQL, Java, etc. ) and i don’t quite have the accounting knowledge being that we’re in IT. . Anyone make the switch ? What advice would you give ? Anything I should try to learn now or any transferable skills you leveraged? Anything would help!

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? How can I know I'm getting the best salary and not just settling at the low end of the range?

I went through the hiring process with this company and finally got an offer. They offered 88k/year and I responded opening a negotiation. They emailed me back saying that I am no longer in this process anymore with no further explanation and in Thanksgiving day. Is that normal?that email really got me very upset

Out of that only 117 have been viewed that’s 6% viewed! the hiring process is completely broken, human resources, managers, and hiring managers are not capable! The same jobs open for 2 1/2 yrs reposting salaries after interviewing 100 then cutting the salary by up to $50k They say can’t find people but they fire you in 90 days when your working 80 hours a week or people are walking!

What are the chances of Amazon (or FAANG in general) allowing you to apply/interview again for a position that you did not get in the past?

I wanted to know how long does Course5i take to release an offer, I cleared all rounds last friday and was going to get an offer from HR early this week (by Monday evening or Tuesday) but didn’t get any offer till now.

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.
