I have over 31 years experience in LEO, am a Certified & experienced Field Training Officer, an instructor in several other areas, former SWAT, am active in numerous area of the company. This is my ‘retirement job’, I am non-exempt, been here 5+ years, am only paid 0.95% above new hires, and am paid the same as those who come to work and do their “8 and skate”.
I plan to go to HR next week and request a raise.
What would be a reasonable percentage to ask for?
