I have seen some companies keep posting for the same mid-level Supply Chain/Strategic Sourcing roles for over 9 months now on Linkedin. What gives? It takes them that long to find someone? I even got rejected from one of them. Some offenders are Thomson Reuters & Canada Pension Plan

Frequently looking for a unrealistic experience at a salary that is too low. What I frequently see is something like 15 YOE in the specific industry, director level consulting work, 90k.

Wanted to update another external recruiter contacted me recently about CPP "Procurement Manager" position open since at least July. Pay is about 120K. It's absurd a company takes that long to hire a mid-level role. They're doing internal/external recruitment.

Could be multiple positions.

Sounds like they like harvesting resumes for some reason 🤷‍♂️

Possibly picky about category experience

Question about what to do next. I’ve maxed out everything—401k, HSA, IRA, backdoor Roth 401k. My bills are all paid. I’ll probably make about 16,500 more this year to do stuff with (ie money that isn’t going to taxes or insurance or anything). What should I do with it? Crypto? Set it on fire? Get a hair transplant?

Is it common to receive feedback after multiple interviews?

Got a rejection late last night after probably 3 hours of interviews and a take home assignment & presentation. They told me they wanted to consider me for other positions, but would like to know if there is anything actionable I can improve on for other companies.

This was for a unicorn tech/healthcare startup.

Between two offers, "Associate Principal" for m&a consulting in the Healthcare industry vs a Director at a F300 company doing M&A and Partnerships. Consulting pays about 50k more. What does the future look like in consulting? I am a bit nervous jumping from from "industry side" to the "consulting side".

Hi guys,

I need an advice/suggestion here. I got an offer from 2 different organisations and choose one among them (Role: Analyst) because of the culture and benefits. And the other offer has a good pay and good designation (Associate Consultant) rather than the one I choose. Now i feel very low due to this decision that I took. I feel like I have settled down for a lower package and a lower designation. Is there anything that I can do in the current organisation that I’ve joined at a week back

Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.
