Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI
Hi guys, Now VMware is offering me a 35% percent hike of what I am earning at DellEmc. I just completed one year at DellEmc. Total 2.7YOE But I don't like to go out of Dell, due to some personal commitments I am planning to switch.
Is it a good time to switch?
Can I talk with my manager ?
Are they able to hike the salary of what VMware is offering? Please suggest me.

How much will be in hand ?

Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

If you signed, then you are effectively done. No harm in trying, but I doubt it will work.
Yeah, sorry, that’s not how it works here.
You could ask for a base location change, but I’d be surprised if they renegotiated salary on the spot. When people move, salary adjustments happen on the normal annual cycle.
I actually don’t think it’s impossible, but you will be at the will of office resource needs. I switched at the last minute from Charlotte to DC without any problems, but I had to enter the conversation highlighting my flexibility (i.e., not saying it was a dealbreaker, even though it was for me) and providing a brief explanation of the personal reasons (I just didn’t want to live in Charlotte but vaguely mentioned having family in Virginia).
Unless you had a really compelling reason to transfer to San Francisco, you might have to wait. With recruiting - they recruit for specific offices, for specific needs, with specific budgets and headcount allocation.
Also, competition is going to be fiercer in a San Francisco vs a Charlotte. It sets a bad precedent to enable new hires to do this - get recruited in Dallas or Jacksonville or whatever other Tier II city, and then last minute try to go to a Tier I city with greater pay.
You can absolutely try, but the optics aren’t great unless your spouse is getting relocated, you have an ailing parent/family member, etc. If the reason is “I just feel like moving there”, why didn’t you consider it sooner before the company hired you and allocated resourcing around your initial desire to be in Charlotte?
Yes I'm sure you can transfer to San Francisco, the Bay Area has more need for people than ever
depending on practice and circumstance you *might* be able to get a location change. Not a snowballs chance in hell they will adjust comp until next cycle (Oct 2022)
No, that's not how it works!
What's wrong with charlotte though?
