Thoughts on Ogilvy Chicago?
Hey Guys,
I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.
Please do suggest on this guys.

Depends on what role, comp and org vertical
Thanks - role and comp are the same, both focusing on BD&L. I’m trying to understand which option could be better in terms of WLB and for my growth going forward between an originator and a generics player
Ohhh go with Novartis….i was there a couple of years ago and am trying to return. Novartis plans to divest or spinoff Sandoz since they couldn’t sell it.
I was in a similar situation half a year ago, went for NVS as being at the forefront of science seemed more interesting to me. Currently benefits across the two are very similar, but I would expect them to diverge in the future
Right, margins should be larger for Novartis ongoing. On the other hand, in a company that's being practically formed now, the environment should be much more dynamic, and thus more growth opportunities I would imagine. I'm starting in Novartis in a few days, so I hope it's a good choice :)
I’d go for Novartis. They’ve got a better brand vs Sandoz- which deals with generics. You’ll prolly work harder btw (Novartis runs very lean from what I hear) but it’ll be with it for the resumes sake
Not directly WLB, but BD&L is boring in the generic space. Boring work will make the work hours seem longer
if WLB is your thing, then Novartis is not the place. I know nothing about Sandoz though. That said, since you are with McKinsey right now, any Pharma job is probably going to be an improvement in the WLB department.
FYI Sandoz is being spun off as it’s own company. It should be complete this fall. Novartis has the better long term viability.
My mom was a VP at Novartis for many years. WLB isn't great but the stock options will be much better than Sandoz unless they have some kind of internal swap deal.
