I interviewed at Credit Suisse last april. Final tech round and post that informal discussion was with a VP. He said, congratulations I am selecting you for my team.

Then he asked me if I like cloud/big data/mlz I said yes better to stay updated.

He rejected me saying you wont work under me for 5 years will switch internally to sde. And cut the zoom call abruptly, and rejected. 😂😂😂 Lost respect for Credit Suisse

Feeling disheartened after sending out 100+ applications with radio silence back. No rejections but no invited to interview either. I feel like my resume looks good, but I have not gone the referral route as of now. 1 YOE

Boomer. I am in between jobs. Laid off in 10/21 after 16+ yrs, with an ABA firm. RIF. Still on excellent terms. Took my time living off generous package and didn’t seriously start applying until 01/22. Made a rookie mistake and accepted first offer.
Turns out job wasn’t as advertised. Mutual parting of ways 3/22. Due diligence is critical.
Now interviewing a LOT. Some temp work, I still have “it”. I relate to all gens. Willing to mentor AND learn from all. Tech savvy, CTE from day one. Leads?

I interviewed at KPMG on 11/14 and got a verbal offer the next day but since then waiting to hear from them. Been following up continuously but the partners are not replying it seems. In the meanwhile i have an offer from BT offering 90k for 4 yrs of experience which seems to be fair.
