Making Asses Clean Again

Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

They expect you to negotiate. As long as you don't ask for anything crazy (like they offered you 100k and you demand 500k) and as long as you don't behave like a jerk (Im too good for you, this salary is ridiculous), you're good. The worst thing that can happen is that they say No. And then you say you need to sleep on it, and then you can still come back and say "Im still really excited about this role and want to join". It's very scary, I've been there, but they wouldn't rescind the offer just bc you tried negotiating. Good luck, you've got this!
You are expected to negotiate. If you don’t you forever lose not just their respect, but also trust. Imagine being represented by a lawyer during your injury case and they didn’t push during negotiations.. how unpleasant that might feel. They need to see they picked someone the trust to represent them in different rooms. If you leave money on the table, they won’t let you in the rooms were money changes hands
Their first offer is NEVER their best and final. Definitely counter.

This advice is dated and VERY industry specific.
Is what you are looking for within their range? Did you provide a number up front? You can always say something like you're excited to join them, but after learning more about the role and taking your experience level and market research (if that applies) into account, you'd like to see of they could offer X. It also depends on how much more you're asking for, what market research shows, and what was discussed initially.
Nothing wrong with asking, tell them you were hoping to get $, can they reconsider, and then see what they say. Don't ask for a stupid amount, hopefully you have good judgment to know what that is.
If they pull the offer just because you asked a question, I'd be thinking it was not the role you wanted..
Just be honest and tell them what you need . If you dont do it upfront ,it probably won't happen.
I use an app to practice things like this in real life situations. You can also work on negotiation more generally and other soft skills. It's called wiseworld.ai
Look it up
Cable Pay in Louisville has been on a down hill pay slide for 15 years. There is no way you are going to make 1500+ a week even working the 6 day work week they push you to work
I ran a supersub for years and did cable for many years before that, and every year was a pay cut. I had guys making over 2k a week and when I closed up shop 9-10 years ago those same guys strugled to make 1000.00 a week and that was with 15+ years of experience.
The CHARGEBACKS alone are redicalous. If they dont have the materials you need (grounding/house boxes) you are still expected to do the job, but then it fails a QC and you get a chargeback and make nothing or they take more than the job is worth and you end up PAYING to do the job "LITERLY"
