YOE and MBA? Experience in payments? Business line? These factors all matter and can drastically change your compensation.
Like 8-10 years of experience with an MBA. I have a background in payment and I fit the role perfectly
The bonus and stock grants in my opinion are pretty reasonable for the level. I think bonus is 0-200% if I’m not mistaken. See if you can push for more base but if not, it’s a good offer. Don’t forget you also get that amazing 401K match.
What area is the role in?
Didn’t take offer
Wow
Yeah, IMO , Visa is a big brand, and the offer is reasonable, I’d suspect above the mid level pay band. @ Director level there is still upward mobility, not to mention total comp compared to others companies. Not to mention it’s a good launch pad for comp growth to smaller companies. I would have taken it and was unsatisfied with the job, given it a year and jumped
It's a competitive offer but just one advice - if this is not for Sr Director, plz don't get too complacent by the job title. In Visa Inc, a Director is not really a "true" Director until you become "Senior Director". The hierarchy : ... Manager ->Sr Manager -> Director -> Sr Director -> VP -> Sr VP ...
@Manager 1, we are going through this now, to be director our HR requires you have direct reports, otherwise you are an IC and a Lead. If you are a lead with Direct Reports they say you have to move to Director
