Welcome to America's 2nd worst club.
I was a consultant before POTS really took me out. It is four years as of yesterday.
My number one advice for you is if you have a short or long-term disability policy that you are still eligible for do everything you can to get it approved.
I am just now able to do a few hours of freelance consulting; I still have to rest; after just a few hours, and I can only work on projects every other day, or I am symptomatic
I went to a specialist who knew the disease I asked him point-blank if I was disabled, he said no but I haven't been able to stand up and not crap my pants since 1/6/2022
I have POTS hypovolmeia, anemia, chronic venous insufficiency, and autonomic neuropathy. I have some MCAS and EDS indicators, I had mild POTS symptoms since puberty and did not have Covid prior.
BB did nothing - I had to go to Corlanor which is extremely expensive
I have found significant relief from taking a 2X daily H1 H2 blocker they are very accessible, it's literally just Pepcid and Zyrtec twice a day so if you haven't tried it it might be worth it
I cost myself at least a year and a half not just trying things that were accessible, because salt and compression really didn't do a significant amount for me
feel free to DM me
