How much sleep are you guys getting during the week and what are some morning / night routines that have helped you be more rested?

The absence of sleep, good diet, exercise, relaxation, and time with friends and family isn’t something to be applauded.

To many people wear their burnout as a badge of honor. It’s time to consider pivoting.

And it needs to change.

I am back to working in person and I can tell my impulsivity is impacting how some coworkers view me. They don’t know, but I wonder if people feel I am weird. I know I can’t please everyone but I want to be neurotypical masking at the very least for 9-10 hours a day (8 hrs plus lunch and a lil before & after work).

Anyone else finding it very difficult to get any enjoyment out of account management these days? Any coping tips? I feel like being an account person is especially difficult in the COVID era since so much of what we do is manage communications, ensure the team is set up well etc. None of this feels particularly fun alone staring into the void of Zoom all day ... but the same pressure is still there. Am I right to be upset I got rejected after 3 job interviews and a work assignment? After the presentation I had with them they scheduled a video interview only to reject me live on zoom. Felt put on the spot, trying to remain friendly and professional when in fact I felt like crying.

I have recovered from Corona Virus. Its 6 weeks now and I can tell you that the after effects are real. I have anxiety that I will never get over the fatigue, brain fog, inability to form sentences and words and headaches which make my work days very difficult to get thru.

I went from agency to in house PR 1.5 years ago (I’m at a prof services firm in nyc). There are no boundaries for communication; everyone is expected to answer emails immediately at all hours and senior people respond in minutes between about 7am-11pm, at minimum. Is this normal in the corporate, non agency world? Not sure if this is just due to the pandemic and WFH, but I was under the impression that in house life would be more chill.
