I just got let go from a company that I was with for TWO WEEKS. They said it wasn’t a right fit for them and that I would be better in a bigger company. I’m not sure what that means but all I know is I’m jobless. I’m tired of managers and overall done working. I’d like to try out remote jobs but don’t know where to start or even if I should. I’m 20 and don’t have much experience in an office but have 6 years of customer service. Do y’all have any advice, I’m desperate.

Need help thinking through this…Debating leaving to a tech startup. Very early stage ($3-7M ARR), would have a big role leading strategy and Ops. It’s a cash paycut, which is a bummer but the equity would be pretty good. Just nervous about leaving before hitting the full manager role and taking a paycut in this market to bank on equity. For those of you have left, what kind of questions did you ask yourself to know it was the right time?

But my project is working only on back end with 10 years old tech stack. There is no front end work at all. What should I do?

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I went from $70k to $100k a little over a year ago.
