I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

You should build the chase trifecta first (Chase Freedom and Freedom Unlimited)
You'd need to be concerned with Chase's 5/24 rule (they will deny new credit if you have opened 5 new accounts in the last 24 months). They will also cap the amount of credit they're willing to extend and you might have to shift credit from one card to another (they'll give you 20k on one card, but to open another card you'll need split it to 10k each). If you want to take advantage of certain sign-up bonuses, get your accounts with Chase figured out first then hit the others. Note that if you open too many to quickly, you'll likely get denied as length of credit also counts towards your ability to pay and their tolerance to taking on risk.
I am considering a Mariott Bonvoy card and the American Airlines Platinum Select. Any advice on which cards have the best offers? 😊
I try to focus everything on American, based in NYC. We cannot book flights on personal cards, but we can book hotels. I have gold with mariott and oneworld ruby. Lounge access would be a cool benefit!
Depends on what kind of credit pull they need. Normally it’s a hard inquiry which shows up on your credit report. If you plan on applying for a mortgage or car loan soon, those pulls showing up on your record may not help.
Thanks! I am not planning to get a car loan or mortgage in the US. Does it affect anything else?
Chase could shut down all your cards if you open too many too quickly. Pace yourself and make sure you can meet all spend requirements for the bonuses.
Also consider business cards if you have even the slightest semblance of a business. They don't count on your personal credit report so you can pick up a few of those and their huge bonuses too.
