I just switched jobs from a boutique management/strategy firm, to B4 business consulting. I can already tell this was the wrong career move. What should I do?

How do you count years of experience? Lets say you were a web master for 5 years. Then you transitioned into a proper UX role and did that for 5 years. Is that 10 years of experience or 5?

I have working in Deutsche Bank ever since.
Our team has gone through a very tough time cause few for the senior member left us. I have support very well and taken up all the roles of a Senior Analyst.
But, I am not happy with this year’s appraisal.

Trying to get out of consulting. Ux is so watered down and I’m terrified that it’s going to stunt my growth. I’m overall just not happy. A lot of my HPLC and LCMS experience is with already established methods. Any tips?

Friend introduced me to a poc at a role I’d potentially be interested in, but background check would take 6-12 months. Just got promotion at current firm and feeling content to stay. I’d be interested in the other company in the near future, ie 1-2 years.
