My base loc is Bengaluru, but currently I am not mandatorily required to work from office, and have been working from home since I joined Deloitte in July. Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

I interviewed in-person for an EVS associate position at an Intermountain Healthcare hospital. Unfortunately, I was told at the very end of the interview that it was PT when I wanted FT. When I expressed disappointment, I was told that it "wasn't for me." The very next week, a FT version of this job was posted.
If FT was available, why wasn't I told this last week, WHEN I was AT the SITE?
I think the couldn't get anyone PT so figured out how to add and get it to FT. Did you reapply? Did you reach out and ask why they wouldn't consider you?
Yes, this is very common. Most companies will leave the job posted until they have made an offer and the candidate has accepted. During that time, if the job is up for renewal, it would automatically repost. I was unemployed for a few months last year, and seeing the reposting made me a little crazy, but I did end up receiving offers from a couple of the companies that I did see the repost for.

Thank you for that. It is nerve wracking isn’t it? 😬

I’ve seen a lot of sites remove the posting after the candidate accepts the offer. Sometimes it just takes a few days though.
there are a lot and it is very common. sometimes, you never know what is happening internally. possible outcome is freeze hire or not a priority due to changes. keep applying in other roles, it is a number game and probability. you can reach out the hr if you want to follow-up application, if no feedback then look elsewhere
I got my current job this way! I feel that it really depends on the specific company sometimes. For example, maybe they're hiring multiple people for one position title, so an application even sent in during repost period would get considered. But it would be hard for highly competitive ones...
It does depend on where you’re looking. I had the same situation occurred to me and I actually ended up accepting the offer from the company. I interviewed two rounds and then I had to wait for a response because it was a holiday weekend again and I reached out to the TA in regards to that I was informed that, the company had a contract with the job poster and they had to meet a quarter so they reposted it even though they did not take the applications
