I’m so tired of interviewing with companies that say - this is not a 40 hour a week company you’ll be expected to work late and be available. I’ve worked in other companies in the past where I was putting 80+ hour weeks and just not looking for that anymore and impacted my health too much. How do you find companies that actually have some sort of a work life balance? I started just setting boundaries and just started working less but feel like other people are working so much more 😅
Coming from government consulting at Deloitte and I’m looking to apply to a generalist role (where I can explore multiple industries) at MBB. Should I try to hide the government nature of my experience on my resume and interviews at the risk of seeming unforthcoming (since government consulting experience seems to be viewed very negatively) or lean into it? I’ve seen a couple other threads on this but it’s only non-MBB people that respond.
Hey folks! Got contacted by a McKinsey recruiter for an internal learning role. Thing is…they contacted me yesterday, and my first interview is…today. They also scheduled all three interviews.

Just had an interview with the CEO of this brand (it was my 4th interview for this role). For some reason, I got really nervous and I think it got the best of me. I felt like I rambled and sounded really stupid a few times because I couldn't find my words... I don't usually get this nervous so IDK why that happened. Do I address any of that in the follow-up email or would that just make it worse? Any thoughts on how to help address it or make it better via a follow up email?
Hi there! Was wondering if any Amazon peeps here could provide some insight on the possible salary range for an Ads Account Manager? (NYC) I’ve already had the first phone interview and it went well but I never had a call with a recruiter which is what I’ve had with other interviews so that I can ask about salary and in office expectations. Is this normal? Should I ask my recruiter if I can have a call with her to discuss this? Also how many more steps can I expect if I move on? THANKS!
Anyone know what % of r1 applicants get an interview invite from Yale SOM? And what % of those eventually get in?

Mega fund VP level role with all cash comp (obviously) OR equal comp at pre ipo 100B tech firm, but with still private and desired stock. Mega fund work is more interesting and clear path to D/MD hence comp growth, which I don’t really see at the tech firm. Any thoughts ? I gravitate towards the fund

I will be managing a team on a multiple month engagement and could use any applicable advice related to kicking off the project, project management, managing expectations, etc.

I’m a M at D. One thing I find challenging is when I have to update PPT’s produced by analysts / consultants. I often have to change things on review but feel like they might think they’re not good enough. Presentation is largely subjective too.
Any tips on how best to manage situations like this or am I overthinking?
