Do you use one of the freelance services, like Upwork or Fiverr? I have found the most success with those services to start with. You can also reach out to companies that fall within your area of expertise and see if they are bringing on any contractors for upcoming projects. We've all been in that position, but you'll find something to fill that gap. Another route I've gone is following u with previous clients to see if they need any assistance. Even if it's lower pay, it can help bridge the gap until you find something new. Good luck!
What happened if you don't mind me asking? I think knowing the reason why you lost your client would be helpful. You can use online platforms and websites network for the time being.
Don't let it ruin your momentum. Identify the issues and problems. Personal connection and networking work best for me. You might as well try these methods.
Identify the reason why you lost your biggest client. Was it your fault? If so, then do something about it first. You can do it!
So sorry about that. Were you able to determine the reason?
Hi! Have you tried searching on Upwrok, Indeed and Fiverr? These are my go-to sites for freelance jobs.
Don't be discouraged, OP. You'll find a new client soon. Work on your portfolio and keep applying.
