I made it through online assessment and hiring stage for what I think was a L6 role in finance. Was set to have my loop and set up a prep call with the recruiter. The recruiter then called me a few days later and said the role was closed and set to potentially hire in q1 of 2026 and they would touch base with me in q4 of 2025. What are the chances this actually happens? If I see another role open up should I message the recruiter?

How do you approach annual salary increase conversations with managers? How do you decide what is a reasonable figure to ask for? Looking for broad responses based on your experience in these conversations. Base is about 90k now (1 year of experience).

Finished my loop for a marketing role 2 weeks ago, and got an email the next day that they wanted to give me an offer. Had my initial call with recruiter to put the offer together. It was lower than I expected, and we ended that call positively as I needed some time to consider, and we agreed to follow up in a few days. It’s now been a week and both recruiters have been unresponsive. Did I just lose this offer bc I tried to negotiate a more equitable comp pack, or is it a slow process?

I want to reach out to the recruiter at Amazon and let them know what the timeline looks like. I would much rather have the Amazon job over the Facebook one. I had a first interview last Tuesday with Amazon, which I think went well, although I still haven't heard back 6 days later and then got an OOO annual leave msg and a no response when I chased up the named colleague today. Is this typical behaviour others have experienced when dealing with the big tech company recruiters? I found Google and Facebook recruiters to be efficient and TikTok so-so, if not a little slow, but 6 days+ seems poor.
