I payed for a service “pre-pay” and missed the appointment. They’re policy is that they will charge the full amount for the service. You can schedule another appointment and pay full price. Can I dispute this charge on Amex for no services rendered. I tried to contact the merchant and they did not consider my excuse valid. What should I do? Thanks!

It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary
