I posted this on LinkedIn. Am I cringe ?

How much yearly hike can one expect at Société Générale ?
"Depends on performance" seems to be a very vague answer.
Can someone please elaborate on a better answer.
Also, Can someone shed some light on promotions?
Is there any policy, like you have to work for X years to be eligible for promotion etc.
Thanks in advance.

If you have to ask…
I’ve worked so many jobs and had so many different managers it’s fun for me to compare and contract their leadership styles and how I react
What do you stand to gain by posting this?
I’m not giga brain but I do get 10 recruiter a week reaching out to me so I have a lot of opportunities to choose from which empowers me to speak more freely on my LinkedIn.
Yeah
If I saw this when I looked through linkedin post interview - I wouldn’t hire you.
Ok maybe I’ll delete it. I have a tendency to publish my memes on LinkedIn and then the dicier ones I do delete so I don’t scare away hiring managers, but the people who know me get to see my true colors
There is a meme bowl…
Without a doubt.
If you have to ask
Check, check
Yes
I deleted it and posted this instead and the Apple recruiter I’ve been working with liked it lol
I delete this one too. Got some feedback on the rate I was offered of $130k in Cupertino.
I thought it was funny because I’m petty like that.
I wouldn’t have posted it on LI though lol
There’s times when I post some and regret it. 6 months ago I posted about all the recruiter offers I got in 2022 compared to the same recruiting companies reaching out in 2024 and publicly displayed companies salary regression for me.
When posting it I thought it would display my worth, as the rates I was being offered in 2024 were still rather high, but idk. Talking about salaries is awkward for me since I get quite a bit of high paying opportunities that land in my inbox compared to most the people in my life, which I’m grateful for, but it’s isolating. I do lean on social media as quite a crutch to find community in this feeling, which isn’t always the best and my motives aren’t always the purest. I’ve been fired a lot from job already for communication issues with management, so my psyche around authority is unstable to say the least.
