Seems great
Salary is nonnegotiable. All advisory is in a cohort model with assigned salaries per box.
If you have an MBA, this is low. If you don’t have an MBA, looks like you’re coming in M2A or so. You’re very unlikely to get top bonus your first year.
Signing bonus is only negotiating tactic but I do it they’ll move
More insider info: the MBA only matters for negotiation purposes if it is a target school. Additionally, you can only negotiate the manager level you come in at, not the salary for the band. If they’ve offered you M2, you can try for SM, but I would advise against this. If you don’t perform and make it to director level in 1 year, you may get the boot this way.
Def negotiate signing bonus.
You’re right- my info is more based on S& than PwC.
Sounds extremely high actually. This is Pwc and not strategy&?
-Former &er
Yah, this is specifically PWC
Ask for better signing bonus, they could possibly stretch to 25-30 or ask for 190k.. DC is expensive.
No the point of the cohort is that it’s set at each point. It specifically is not a range.
YOE?
Is this for Cyber?
Thanks BCG1 and M1, that’s very helpful information. Some additional background info on myself:
-10 YOE
- MBA and MSIS
- Prior consulting and industry experience
Do you still think I can negotiate the salary or just focus on singing bonus?
That is if $ is this deciding factor for you. But to answer your question, stick to the signing bonus
