I’ve been trying to get into the top tier Associate Product Marketing Manager position Google for some time now for just an interview and I feel like business majors somehow have such a stronger chance in getting interviewed especially my business school and I feel really discouraged as an Econ Major and I have a lot of marketing experience that I’ve built over the years. Are there any non-business majors in the tech realm in non technical positions at Google that can advise me?

I’d tell both companies. Tell company A you need till Thursday to evaluate your options. Tell company B you need to know tomorrow because you have other options waiting. Both should understand. And ask for more money from both. 🙃
Also not sure where you’re going — BEWARE THE HOLDING COMPANY APPROVAL. A verbal is great, but with deadlines and whatnot, that can still take days extra to get
Got stuck in this situation when COVID started. I made company B aware of the situation and stalled A until the HR person started getting snippy (it actually turned into a $10K “what do I have to do to get you in the door” offer bump). B was able to finally pull through before I signed with A but it was difficult. When I backed out of the verbal acceptance company A understood, and in a way the stalling helped because they already knew something was up. I think you have to figure if you have an offer, you have some leverage—they want you, and ideally they’d want you to feel comfortable when you make your decision—so use it.
