I recently have taken on a sort of management position. I am now the manager / mentor of one lady.
I am 24 and she is around 40.
I have reached a bit of an issue when it comes to AI. Our boss is pushing it massively to boost efficiency, which is totally understandable. However, this lady absolutely refuses to use it in her daily work. I have made her aware it’s now a requirement but she just doesn’t listen.
Any tips???

Hi Everyone, Started my career in government 5 years ago working in an operational role, then focussed on HR for 3 years working my way up to a middle manager role in HR as a business partner and completed my Level 7 CIPD. Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. Should I stay it out and wait for TC to align or take the promotion and jump ship bc I will likely get paid more elsewhere given how recruiters/other companies eat up hiring recently promoted ppl from other firms?

There is this big bank where I'd love to work at, and after several interviews for various positions they end up promoting someone from within, even thou I understand it and think it’s good they promote their people, it left me feeling like I'm just being used to comply with the process.
