I recently moved teams due a better fit with my skills and a big org change at our company.

I have been working for the company for 2+ years—longer than most at our org, and have contributed a ton to the company re: customer retention, conversion, etc.

During this move and under a new manager is it a good time to ask about a promotion? I was debating waiting until after I am in the role for a few months, but no time like the present, right?

I just got into reading books, any suggestions to start with? Which could help to increase media/marketing knowledge.

I’ve previously worked for 10 years as a medical assistant in a variety of specialties and primary care. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stuck as to my next step. Part of me want to go into management, another part is saying go get your RN, and the other is saying go into Social Work. I’m all over the place. Any ideas? I've never worked on anything for TikTok and hope I never have to. TikTok is from hell. I was on it one time for about 10 minutes and could feel myself becoming mentally unwell in just those 10 minutes. The human brain is not designed to deal with the sheer amount of sensory overload that app gives you. I'm pretty sure TikTok is one of the main reasons we are constantly hearing about how much Gen Z struggles with mental health.
